The End of my story trip to the Aviary Bird Seed Store..

See how the baby canaries have grown since my trip to the seed store. They have their eyes open, a few pin feathers coming in, you can see they will be yellow. Their crop is full of green peas and nestling food...they are well on their way to being fledglings.

If you have the time and really want to enjoy the animals on my trip, be sure to click on and enlarge the photos...The yellow feathers are spooky.

new canary hatchling

Ok, here is a picture of the new little hatchling that inspired todays Photo shoot. There are actually two chicks in this picture, one is still wet from the shell.

canary foods

I got some delicious canary food today, I am lucky to have Beaver Creek Avaiary Bird Foods located very close to me..They sell bird seeds world wide so I feel I am getting a real quality food for the birds. Today I got Nestling Food for the Hens to feed the young, Song Seed for the Male birds, Millett for the European Finches and Fruit and Nut mix for everyone..You can see what it look like esp if you click on the pic and enlarge it...

Sky watch for Today.

It is chilly out, about 40 and cloudy, but never the less, there are signs of Spring all around..This is a photo shoot of my trip to get Canary Food for the new hatchlings. Not my house, my sky. I put the chicks out on facebook.
